Apple Fritter Bread

Ingredients for 8-12 servings

For the Apples Mixture:
2 apples, peeled and chopped into about 1/2 inch dice, perhaps a bit smaller
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon sugar

For the Swirl & Topping mixture:
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

For the bread:
1/2 cup (1 stick of butter) softened to room temperature
2/3 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup milk
