Ingredients for 4 servings

2 scallions, white and light-green parts, cut in half
2 large carrots, cut into a few pieces
½ medium red bell pepper, seeded, ribs removed, and cut into a few pieces
¼ cup (packed) fresh cilantro
1 15-ounce can black beans, rinsed and drained
½ cup quick-cooking oats
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
Pinch of cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 large egg
3 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
4 whole-wheat hamburger buns, split
4 leaves of romaine lettuce
1 Roma tomato, sliced
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
