Sausage Bread

This Sausage Bread was even good reheated for lunch the next day. You could make  this ahead of time and reheat it.

Ingredients for 4-6 servings

1 (11-oz) can refrigerated French bread dough (Pillsbury)
1 lb pork sausage (Tennessee Pride or Jimmy Dean)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 large egg, lightly beaten
2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp fennel seeds
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp Italian seasoning, divided
2 Tbsp butter, melted
1 clove garlic, crushed
