Linguine Carbonara

Loaded with the flavor of garlic, bacon, parsley, and Parmesan cheese, this is a simple and delicious dinner. Cook’s Note: If you want to make this simpler, use precooked bacon pieces. If you don’t have fresh parsley, you can substitute dried, but instead of adding it at the end, it should be mixed into the milk, egg, and water mixture.

Ingredients for 6 servings

1 pound linguine
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup frozen peas, thawed under warm water.
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
¾ pound bacon, cooked, and then chopped (This makes approximately 1 cup)
2 eggs
1 tablespoon milk
3 tablespoons pasta cooking water.
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 Tablespoons chopped Italian (flat leaf) Parsley (Can substitute 1 teaspoons dried parsley)
Pepper, to taste
