Braised Daikon with Salted Pork and Glass Noodles

It adds tons of complexity and umami deliciousness to dishes, so I do hope this post gives you some inspiration and the freedom to improvise with your salted pork! Ingredients for 4 servings 3 tablespoons oil 3 cloves garlic 3 scallions, the white and green parts separated 5 ounces salted pork belly, sliced 1½ pounds daikon radish, cut into small pieces 3½ cups chicken stock 2 small bundles of mung bean glass noodles (approximately 75 grams) ½ teaspoon sesame oil ¼ teaspoon white pepper Salt, to taste Read the Instructions here  

Risotto alla Boscaiola

Add to ❤ Favorites This includes mushrooms (dried porcini and fresh local mushrooms) as well as Italian pork sausages. This risotto is earthy and flavoursome. Ingredients for 4 servings 2 good quality italian pork sausages 1/2 glass of white wine extra virgin olive oil 1/2 brown onion, finely diced 400g various mushrooms (I used a mix of swiss brown and large field mushrooms), wiped clean and sliced/diced depending on type of mushroom 25g dried porcini mushrooms 2 cups risotto rice (I use Carnaroli) 4 cups chicken stock 50g unsalted butter at room temperature 75g grated parmigiano cheese salt (as needed) 1/2 bunch parsley, leaves picked and chopped finely Read the Instructions here  

Apple-Cinnamon Pork Loin

Add to ❤ Favorites Like most slow-cooker recipes, this one can also be done in the oven: just put it in a covered roasting pan, and check the meat frequently so you can take it out when it’s done. It does take a little more effort, but in return for your efforts, you’ll get the delicious smell of roasting pork all through the kitchen.
