12 whole wheat blueberry muffinsday old or stale, torn into pieces
1/4cup demera sugar
1/4cup sliced almonds

For the Cheesecake
8ounces cultured cream cheesesoftened
2tablespoons organic maple syrup
1teapoon organic lemon extract

For the Custard
2cups half and half
4large pastured eggs
1/3cup organic maple syrup
2tablespoons butter, melted
1pinch sea salt (real salt)

Vanilla Sauce (optional)
2cups half and half
1tablespoon arrowroot starch
2large egg yolks
1/3cup Organic Sugar
1teaspoon organic vanilla extract
2tablespoons butter
